Tårup Sogn (until October 1, 2010: Taarup Kirkedistrikt ( German: church district ) in Frørup Sogn ) is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until October 1, 2010 it was only a church district in Frørup Sogn. When all church districts in Denmark were dissolved on this date, it became an independent Sogn.

history

Until 1970 Frørup Sogn belonged to Harde Vindinge Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Ørbæk Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Nyborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .
