Herrested Kirke

Herrested Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Vindinge Herred in what was then Svendborg Office , then to Ørbæk Municipality in Fyns Office , which was merged into Nyborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

1075 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Herrested Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the north-east Ellinge Sogn , in the east Refsvindinge Sogn , in the south-east Ørbæk Sogn and in the south Ellested Sogn , also in the west Faaborg-Midtfyn commune in the south-west Ryslinge Sogn and in the north-west Søllinge Sogn , Hellerup Sogn and Rolfsted Sogn .
