Tölke Borchers

Tölke Borchers (born June 19, 1934 in Bremen ; † November 9, 2009 in Bremen) was a German farmer and politician . He was a member of the Bremen Citizenship ( CDU ).

biography

Family and work

Borchers comes from an old Huchtinger family. His father was the farmer and politician Hermann Borchers (1903–1973) (BDV, SRP, DP, CDU). The street Borchershof in Huchting was named after the farm. He worked as a farmer in Bremen. Borchers was married.

politics

Borchers was a member of the CDU and was active in various functions. For the CDU from 1987 to 1995, in the 12th and 13th electoral terms, he was a member of the Bremen Citizenship for eight years and served in various deputations .

From 1976 to 1996 he was President of the Bremen Chamber of Agriculture and Deichhauptmann in the area to the left of the Weser .
