The Töpfersbühl near Reichmannsdorf in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district is 762.6 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Thuringian Slate Mountains . It is located between Reichmannsdorf in the south and Wickersdorf in the north, not far west of the federal highway 281 leading from Reichmannsdorf to Saalfeld .
The mountain
Of the many paths that lead to the Töpfersbühl, some are slightly overgrown, which means that access is only easy for those familiar with the area. Finding the summit also requires a little patience. Only a white sign, the inscription of which is almost illegible, shows the highest point of the mountain.
The area around the Töpfersbühl is a nature reserve . It is one of the last nature reserves that is home to the endangered capercaillie .
