The TSG Blankenloch ( gymnastic and sporting community Blankenloch e. V. ) is a sports club in Blankenloch .
history
The TSG Blankenloch was founded on October 17, 1968th The driving force at that time were dissatisfied gymnasts and table tennis players, who tipped the scales that a second club was established in Blankenloch in addition to SV Blankenloch . In 1978 the community made today's sports grounds available. In 1984 TSG was awarded the contract for a school pavilion advertised by the city of Karlsruhe , which was converted into the club's new domicile. The starting shot was given in May 1985. After many hours of voluntary work, the club house was inaugurated in June 1987.

The club consists of departments for volleyball , indiaca , basketball , gymnastics , athletics , boxing , table tennis and ski gymnastics.

The volleyball men's team has been represented in the 3rd League South since 2018/19 . The beach volleyball department regularly holds tournaments. The first women's team plays in the district league.
The local tournament is very popular for recreational teams with a maximum of one active (up to Association League) on the field on Mother's Day .
Indiaca
The group of students (11-14 years of age) established in 2005 had a surprise after just two years by winning the German Championship. This success was an initial spark, so that since then TSG Blankenloch has been a household name in the Indiaca scene in Germany. Schoolchildren and juniors have won 12 out of 20 titles at German championships in recent years. At the Junior World Cup 2017, the trophy went to Blankenloch for the second time after 2014. The men reached third place in the German Indiacaliga. In 2017 TSG player Danny Krimmel became world champion with the German national team. The juniors could also win this title.
Table tennis
The men play in the district league.
