The gymnastics and sports club Krähenwinkel Kaltenweide eV , or TSV KK for short , is a sports club in Langenhagen . It offers its members sport in the fields of soccer , badminton , table tennis , pétanque , dancing , gymnastics and volleyball . In addition, the association also offers the examination of the German sports badge.

Club area

The club area is located in close proximity to the forest lake in Krähenwinkel, and between the villages of Twenge ( Kaltenweide ) and Krähenwinkel . The club's premises include the clubhouse, which has been under renovation since 2011, five football pitches (A, B, C, D and E courts), two pétanque courts (bouledrome), a multi-purpose hall , an asphalt playing area and a facility for sand sports like beach volleyball etc.

Soccer

The first men's team in the football division achieved participation in the DFB Cup in the 1991/92 season by winning the Lower Saxony Cup in the previous season . In the second round, the "crows" lost 4-1 to SSV Reutlingen 05 away from home . In 2015 the first team was promoted to the Hanover regional league .

The 1st old men (over 32) won the Lower Saxony championship in 2011, 2014 and 2015 and took 3rd place in the 7th and 10th German Old Men Supercup in Neuler and Oyten in 2012 and 2015 . She is the first and only defending champion at state level since the Lower Saxony Championship was introduced in 1988.

Petanque

The team took part in the promotion round to the 2009 Bundesliga season from October 25 to 26, 2008, after winning the Lower Saxony state championship . In the first qualifying round, which is played in three groups, the KK'ler occupied second place in the table in their group behind the Freiburg Gymnastics Federation of 1844 and were thus able to qualify for the second round, the final round. Here, however, the games against the Pétanque Friends Saarbrücken and against the Boulefreunde Hauenstein were lost 2: 3. In the final table, they only took fourth place and only just missed promotion.
