Jürgen Stoffregen (born March 10, 1957 in Hildesheim ) is a former German soccer player and soccer coach .
Career
As a player, Stoffregen played sixteen second division games for Hannover 96 from 1978 to 1980 . In 1980 he returned to his home club TSV Havelse , with whom he rose from the Lower Saxony Association to the Oberliga Nord and spent the following eight years there. After the end of his active career, Jürgen Stoffregen switched to coaching and in the 1995/96 season, after Egon Coordes was dismissed, he looked after the Bundesliga team of Hannover 96 from March to the end of the season in a total of 14 games. In 2001 he led SV Linden 07 to the Lower Saxony league. From 2004 to December 16, 2010 he was the coach of TSV Havelse. For the 2011/12 season Stoffregen took over the coaching position at the Lower Saxon upper division club BSV Rehden , with whom he qualified for the Regionalliga Nord. In January 2013 he became coach of the upper division VfV 06 Hildesheim . After promotion to the Regionalliga Nord in 2015 , Stoffregen ended his career as a football coach with relegation the following year .
In April 2017, Stoffregen returned to VfV 06 Hildesheim for the remaining five games in the Football Regionalliga Nord 2016/17 after the previous coach Mario Block was dismissed and secured relegation with them on the last match day.
Stoffregen's main job is to head the business development and marketing department at the city of Garbsen .
