The gymnastics and sports club Tarp e. V. is a sports club from Tarp in Schleswig-Holstein . It was founded in 1920 and, according to its own information, has around 1300 members and is one of the largest associations in the Schleswig-Flensburg district . The club offers badminton , cheerleading , judo , karate , athletics , rehab sports, swimming , tennis , table tennis , gymnastics and volleyball .

TSV Tarp became known nationwide through its men's handball team , which played in the regional handball league for several years and took part in the main round of the DHB Cup in 1981/82 and 1982/83 , but was eliminated in the first round. In 1987, the TSV Tarp founded with the TSV Wanderup the Handball Game Community Tarp-Wanderup that in the 2013/14 season in the 2. Handball-Bundesliga played, in January 2014 but filed for bankruptcy and as a result the team withdrew from the league.

Until the establishment of FC Tarp-Oeversee together with TSV Oeversee in 1999, there was also a football department at TSV Tarp.
