The TV Petterweil (full name Turnverein 1860 Petterweil ) is a sports club from Petterweil , a district of the Hessian city of Karben . It was founded in 1860 and offers handball and gymnastics .
Handball
Nationally known TV Petterweil is by its Handball Division, whose men several years in the handball Regional played and in 1977 and 1982 on the main round of the DHB Cup participated, where they each in the first round against the Bundesliga team of the TuS Hofweier were eliminated. After TV voluntarily withdrew from the regional league after the 2006/07 season, it is currently (2020) playing in the major league.
