The Tagab is a left tributary of the Kabul River in eastern Afghanistan .

geography

The Tagab rises in the Hindu Kush in the northeast of the Kapisa province . It flows in a south-south-westerly direction through the mountains. It finally reaches the Tagab Valley, which runs in a north-south direction and which runs along a fault . After 55 km the river finally flows into the reservoir of the Sarobi dam . The Tagab drains the southeast of the Kapisa province. Its catchment area covers around 800 km². The mean discharge is 1.42 m³ / s.
