The Tagoloan ( Eng .: Tagoloan River ) is a river that flows in the province of Bukidnon and Miamis Oriental in the Philippines . Its source rises in the Tago mountain range at an altitude of about 2000 meters on the island of Mindanao . The river flows into the Mindanao Sea in the municipality of Tagoloan . The Tagoloan has a length of 106 km and a water catchment area of 1778 km², which includes the municipalities of Impasug-ong , Manolo Fortich , Sumilao and Malitbog . Its main tributaries are the Manolo Fortich, the Siloo, the Ipaon and the Calamuan. Some of these have their source areas in the Kitanglad Mountains .
The Tagoloan flows on its upper course in a narrow, very winding canyon-like valley that meanders through some high plateaus. After the confluence with its main tributaries on the border with the Misamis Oriental province , the course of the river becomes wider.
