Manolo Fortich is a metropolitan parish in Bukidnon Province on Mindanao Island in the Philippines . It has 100,210 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 22 barangays . It belongs to the first income bracket of the communities in the Philippines and is described as partially urbanized . There is an External Study Center at Bukidnon State University in the community .

It is located about 55 km north of the provincial capital Malaybalay City , the journey time by bus is around 90 minutes, and 35 km south of the regional capital Cagayan de Oro, the journey time by bus is around 45 minutes. Their neighboring communities are Cagayan de Oro and Malitbog in the north, Sumilao and Impasug-ong in the east, Libona in the west and Baungon in the southwest. The topography of the municipality is described as mountainous with large canyon-like valleys and large plateaus . The highest point in the area of ​​the municipality reaches 1,979 meters above sea level and is located in Barangay Dahilayan. The lowest point of the municipality is in Barangay Minsuro at 257 meters above sea level. In the south are the mountains of Mount Kitanglad .

Mangima Canyon is along the Sayre Highway, approximately 2 km from the community center. The kitanglad mountain range is located in the south of the municipality and can be reached from the barangays Dahilayan and Kalugmanan. The Abyawan ridge lies along the road to Silo-o Station and the nursery of Bukidnon Forest Inc. From here there is a panoramic view over the canyon of the Tagoloan River , which flows through the Barangays Dalirig, Lingi-on and Santo Niño. The approx. 1,859 meter long Sumalsag cave with its large stalactites can only be reached via the Barangay Dalirig, but is located in the area of ​​the municipality of Sumilao. From the hills of Mount Pulog there is a panoramic view over the northern plateau of Bukidnon.
