Cabanglasan is a metropolitan parish in Bukidnon Province on Mindanao Island in the Philippines . It has 33,997 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 15 barangays . It belongs to the first income bracket of the communities in the Philippines and is described as partially urbanized .
Its neighboring communities are Malaybalay City in the north and west, San Fernando in the south and Loreto in the province of Agusan del Sur in the east. The municipality is located about 59 km east of the provincial capital Malaybalay City, about 152 km southeast of the capital of the region Cagayan de Oro .
