The Takargo (also Dragkar-Go ) is a mountain in the Himalayas in the Rolwaling Himal mountain range .

The 6771  m high Takargo is located in the Nepalese administrative zone Janakpur . The Takargo is located in a mountain group delimited by the Drolambaogletscher in the east, the Trakarding glacier and the glacial lake Tsho Rolpa in the south and the Ripimo-Shar glacier in the west.

Ascent history

The Takargo was first climbed on March 12, 2010 by the two Americans Joe Puryear and David Gottlieb . The ascent route led over the east wall to the summit.
