Takele Nigate (born October 2, 1999 ) is an Ethiopian athlete who specializes in the obstacle course .
Athletic career
Takele Nigate gained his first international experience in 2017 at the Junior African Championships in Tlemcen , where he won the gold medal in 8: 31.36 minutes. The following year he also won the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 8: 25.35 minutes. In 2019 he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time and finished fourth there in 8: 23.48 minutes before he was eliminated from the preliminary round at the World Championships in Doha with 8: 38.34 minutes .
