Takera Narita ( Japanese 成 田 武 羅 , Narita Takera; born October 13, 1939 in Tokyo Prefecture , † 2001 in Paris ) was a Japanese sculptor. He lived and worked in Paris until his death.

life and work

Takera Narita studied from 1966 to 1969 at the Musashino Art School in Tokyo. Like many other young Japanese artists, he went abroad at the beginning of his career. Narita went to Paris, where he completed his studies at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts .
