Tal (born December 12, 1989 in Hadera ), full name Tal Benyerzi , is an Israeli - French singer .

biography

Shortly after she was born, Tal Benyerzi moved with her family from Israel to France, where she grew up in the capital, Paris. Her father was a guitarist and her mother a professional singer. At the age of twelve she began to learn the piano and guitar and to take jazz dance lessons. She played theater and sang in Parisian bars, where she was discovered by producer Aura Marciano. At 19, she signed a recording deal with Sony Music . She worked on songs and recordings for three years, but did not achieve any notable success.

In 2011 she moved to Warner Music . Her first single On Avance was released there in August , with which she made it straight into the French charts. The second release was called Waya waya and, despite prominent support from Sean Paul, lagged significantly behind. Even before the release of her debut album, the third song was Le sens de la vie , with which she finally made her breakthrough: In France it came in at number 4 and in the French-speaking part of Belgium it even had a number one hit . The album Le droit de rêver was also successful in both countries.

In 2013 she took part in the fourth season of the French dance show Danse avec les stars .
