Tamara Metelka

Tamara Metelka (born August 18, 1972 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress and lecturer .

Education and professional activities

Metelka received her acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . From 1994 to 2005 she was part of the ensemble of the Vienna Burgtheater . She then worked as a freelance actress and made guest appearances at the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Burgtheater and the Reichenau Festival , among others . In addition, Metelka took part in numerous film and television productions. From 2000 Metelka took on a teaching position for breath, voice and speech training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar as an assistant in the Adelheid Pillmann class . In 2013 she became Professor of Speech Formation there as the successor to Adelheid Pillmann. As head of the institute, she was a member of the management team of the Max Reinhardt Seminar that has been in place since October 2014. At the beginning of 2020 the management team of the Reinhardt Seminar resigned.

She is married to the castle actor Nicholas Ofczarek . The couple have a daughter together.
