Tamara Ustinov

Tamara "Tammy" Ustinov (born July 25, 1945 in London ) is a British film and theater actress.

Life

Tamara Ustinov was born in London in 1945 as the only daughter of Sir Peter Ustinov and Isolde Denham's marriage . Her aunt is the actress Angela Lansbury and her grandfather is the writer and director Reginald Denham . She has three half-siblings from a later marriage of her father, including the sculptor Igor Ustinov .

After first experiences with acting in school appearances, she turned increasingly to the theater. This was followed by appearances in London's West End theater district , the Traverse Theater in Edinburgh, the Royal Court Theater , the Young Vic , the Birmingham Rep and the New Yorker Circle in the Square Theater .

However, she became known to a larger audience as early as the 1970s with her roles in the British horror films In the Witch Hunter's Talons and The Tomb of the Bloody Mummy .

In addition, she regularly took on smaller roles in numerous British television productions, such as in the German-British television series Paul Temple on the side of Francis Matthews and Ros Drinkwater .

She has been married to actor Malcolm Rennie since 1989 .
