Tanishaa Mukerji ( Bengali : তানিশা মুখার্জি , Tāniśā Mukhārji ; born January 1, 1978 in Mumbai , India ) is a Bollywood actress .
biography
Tanisha's family has been in the film industry for several generations . Her great-grandmother Rattan Bai was an actress, then her grandmother Shobhna Samarth . Her marathic mother Tanuja and her aunt Nutan were also respected actresses, especially in the 1960s. Tanisha's Bengali father Shomu Mukherjee was a producer. Her sister is the famous actress Kajol . Her cousin is the director Ayan Mukherjee and her second cousin Rani Mukerji is also an actress in the film industry.
Career
Her first hit was in Ram Gopal Varma's film Sarkar .
