Tanja Bissig (born December 29, 1994 ) is a Swiss biathlete .

Tanja Bissig lives in Andermatt and starts for SC Gotthard-Andermatt . She attended school in Engelberg and works there as a hotel manager. She has been a member of the Swiss C-squad since 2012. Besides biathlon competition since it denies late 2013 and from time to unterklassige FIS races in cross country skiing .

Bissig made her international debut at the Junior World Championships in Obertilliach in 2013 and was 58th in the individual, 47th in the sprint, 39th in the pursuit and won the bronze medal as a starting runner with Lena Häcki and Sabine di Lallo in the Swiss relay. A year later in Presque Isle the ranks 38 in the individual, 35 in the sprint and 36 in the pursuit were added, in 2015 in Minsk she was 33rd in the individual, 45th in the sprint and pursuit and with Aita Gasparin and Lena Häcki seventh in the relay race. Shortly before , she took part in the European Championships for the first time in Otepää . In the individual races she started with the juniors and finished 31st in the individual, 38th in the sprint and 35th in the pursuit. For the pursuit race, Bissig was appointed to the side of Ladina Meier-Ruge , Susanna Meinen and Sabine di Lallo in the A women's relay in Switzerland and reached 15th place with this. In the 2013/14 season, Bissig won the overall ranking of the Alpine Cups .

Bissig made her debut among women in the IBU Cup in 2015 in Ridnaun , where she finished 72nd in a sprint race.
