Susanna Meinen (born May 19, 1992 in Zweisimmen ) is a Swiss biathlete and former cross-country skier .

Susanna Meinen starts for the Zweisimmen ski club . She initially competed in cross-country skiing and has been there since the end of 2008, initially in junior and FIS races , and since 2010 seldom in Alpine Cup races , but without notable successes. For the 2014/15 season she had her first important races in biathlon. She made her international debut at the start of the season in a sprint race as part of the IBU Cup in Beitostølen , which she finished 59th. In Duszniki-Zdrój she won points in the racing series for the first time on the 27th in 2015. A little later she started at the 2015 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää and thus at her first international championships in biathlon. Mine was 31st in the individual, 43rd in the sprint and 36th in the pursuit. She competed in the relay race alongside Ladina Meier-Ruge , Tanja Bissig and Sabine di Lallo . Despite good shooting performance by Meinen and Bissig, who only missed three targets and hit them with spare rounds, a better placement than the last and 15th, lapped, place could not be achieved, as di Lallo shot one and Meier-Ruge three penalties and so that the Swiss relay received more fines than all other participating relay teams had to show. After the European Championships, Meinen made her debut in the Biathlon World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě . With Ivan Joller she formed the first Swiss representation in a single mixed race, which was held for the first time in the World Cup , and reached 15th place. This was followed by the sprint race, in which she was 59th just able to qualify for the pursuit race, in which Meinen improved by ten places and was 49th. Then she came back to the IBU Cup and was able to confirm her increasing performance there. First she improved her best performance in a sprint race in Canmore to 18th place, in the following sprint in the same place she placed tenth in the top ten for the first time.
