Tanja Lasch

Tanja Lasch (born September 11, 1975 in Weimar ) is a German pop singer .

Life

She is the youngest daughter of the writer and composer Burkhard Lasch . Lasch studied music at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden and then sang with her older sister Diana in various formations (X-Pact and LTD). With these groups she released some German and English speaking singles .

In 2000 Lasch founded the duo Tanja & Diana together with her sister . Together they brought out ten singles and appeared in various television programs on ARD , ZDF , RTL , Sat.1 , MDR , FAB , GoldStar TV (premiere). From 2000 to 2003 they hosted the music magazine Erfrischend Deutsch at GoldStar TV .

After both sisters had taken a baby break, Tanja Lasch appeared again in summer 2005 as a soloist with the single Immermal . Since then she has released four singles, performed at live events, and appeared on television shows. In February 2016, the music video for the previously released single If he knew from Lasch's album Lebensecht was released. After almost six months, the video had over a million views.

Lasch covered the hit Die immer laughs by Kerstin Ott . Together with producer Stefan Pössnicker, the song was produced in Lasch's usual style. A live version of the song from one of their concerts was published on YouTube in March 2016 and has already been viewed over 13 million times.

She lives in Berlin and was married to Martin Marcell, a member of the hit duo Fantasy . Their son was born in 2004. In 2017 the couple separated and filed for divorce.

In December 2017 Tanja Lasch took part in the pop stars project for children and sang the Christmas hit "Auf once" with the group. The hit was released in December and the proceeds will benefit children in need. The song was re-recorded in 2018 and released again for Christmas.
