Tara Correa-McMullen

Tara Correa-McMullen , actually Shalvah McMullen (born May 24, 1989 in Westminster , Vermont , † October 21, 2005 in Inglewood , California ) was an American actress .

Life

Tara was the daughter of Thomas McMullen and his wife Devra Correa. Her parents recognized her artistic talent early on and enabled her to take private dance and singing lessons. At the age of ten, Correa-McMullen appeared in commercials and was hired to play the role of stubborn student Graciela Reyes on the CBS television series For All Cases Amy . In 2005 she starred in her first movie Volltreffer - Ein Supercoach takes through (original title: Rebound ) with Megan Mullally and Martin Lawrence .

On October 21, 2005, Correa-McMullen, only 16 years old, was gunned down in front of an apartment block in Inglewood. Damien Watts, then 20, a member of a local street gang , was found guilty of the actress' murder in January 2009 and sentenced to life in prison with no parole.
