Tarassiwzi ( Ukrainian Тарасівці ; Russian Тарасовцы Tarassowzy , Romanian Tărăsăuţi ) is a village in Bessarabia in the Ukrainian Chernivtsi Oblast with about 5300 inhabitants (2004).
The village is the only place in the district of the same name in the south of Novoselyzja district on the banks of the Prut on the border with Romania, 37 km east of the Oblast capital Chernivtsi and 8 km east of the Novoselyzja district center . The population consists of 95% Romanians and Moldovans.
The N 10 road runs through Tarasivtsi .
