Tasapampa is a town in the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Tasapampa is the fourth largest city in the canton Yotala in Municipio Yotala in Oropeza Province . The village is located at an altitude of 2305  m on the left, northern bank of the Río Pilcomayo at the confluence of the Cachi Mayu and the Río Chakha.

Tasapampa lies between the Bolivian Altiplano in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. The climate of the region is a typical time of day climate , in which the temperature fluctuations during the day are greater than during the year.
