Oropeza is a province in the northwestern part of the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

location

The province is one of ten provinces in the Chuquisaca department. It borders on the Potosí Department in the north, west and south, the Yamparáez Province in the southeast, the Jaime Zudáñez Province in the east , and the Cochabamba Department in the northeast .

The province extends approximately between 18 ° 21 'and 19 ° 22' south latitude and 65 ° 00 'and 65 ° 42' west longitude, its extent from west to east is 40 kilometers, from north to south 110 kilometers.
