Jaime Zudáñez is a province in the northwestern part of the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

The province bears its name in honor of the freedom fighter Jaime de Zudáñez (1772-1832), who was born in this region.

location

The province is one of ten provinces in the Chuquisaca department. It borders in the northwest with the province of Oropeza , in the west with the province Yamparáez , in the southwest with the department Potosí , in the south with the province Azurduy , in the east with the province Tomina , in the northeast with the province Belisario Boeto , and in the north with the Department of Cochabamba .

The province extends approximately between 18 ° 29 'and 19 ° 41' south latitude and 64 ° 28 'and 65 ° 04' west longitude, its extent from west to east is up to 55 kilometers, from north to south 110 kilometers.
