Tatiana Titova

Tatiana Titowa ( Russian Татьяна Титова , English transcription Tatyana Titova ; born August 6, 1965 ) is a Russian marathon runner .

Her first and probably greatest success was the 1992 Paris Marathon in her personal best of 2:31:12 h. On August 22nd of the same year she set a Russian record in the half marathon with 1:11:02 in Stockholm .

In the course of her further career she won the San Francisco Marathon in 1993, the Columbus Marathon in 1996, 1999 and 2001, the Austin Marathon in 2000 and the California International Marathon in 2003. In 2004 she won the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon , its route because of its gradient, however, is not suitable for the best lists, in 2:29:36 h.
