course
The Taubenbach rises southeast of Auw near Prüm -Laudesfeld. It initially flows in a north-westerly direction. At Laudesfeld it changes in a more northerly direction and flows around the place in an arc from the east. Then it changes to the northerly direction, which it essentially maintains up to the mouth. Finally it flows into the Our north-west of Auw at Prüm-Wischeid.
history
The Taubenbach used to be called Berbach . Until the French Revolution it was the border between the Amelscheid and Manderfeld courts and thus between the Archdiocese of Cologne and the Diocese of Liège.
