Pigeon tower in Germigny-l'Évêque

The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Germigny-l'Évêque , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 17th century.

The pigeon tower on Rue du Château was part of the summer residence of the Bishops of Meaux .

The round tower made of quarry stone has small arched windows. The roof is crowned by a lantern .
