The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Faÿ-lès-Nemours , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 15th century.

history

The pigeon tower stands as part of the castle since 1991 as a monument historique on the list of monuments in France.

The round tower made of quarry stone has around 1,800 pigeon nests. The coat of arms of the noble owner was originally attached to the triangular gable on the roof over the small window.
