Baptismal font in Commeny

The baptismal font in the Catholic Church of St-Martin in Commeny , a French parish in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was created in 1781. In 1988, the baptismal font was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The stone baptismal font has the following inscription on the base: “Ces fonts baptismaux ont été donné a cette paroisse par la fabrique de St Jacques de la boucherie de Paris de Mrs Merel. curé. Paulmier de Roussy, Lesguilliez, Fontaine marguilliers en charge le 22 November 1781 ”.
