Baptismal font Saint-Symphorien (Nesles-la-Vallée)
The baptismal font in the parish church of St-Symphorien in Nesles-la-Vallée , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was created in the 13th century. The Gothic baptismal font has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1911 .
The 0.95 meter high, oval baptismal font is adorned by two surrounding friezes , which are depicted in the form of stylized vine leaves. A similar baptismal font is in the church of St-Denis in Jouy-le-Comte .
