The Nevado Taulliraju , also just called Taulliraju , is one of over 50 peaks over 5700 meters in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru with a height of 5830 m . The heavily glaciated mountain is located 24 km east of the city of Huaraz in the Ancash region .

In terms of mountain technology, the Taulliraju is a demanding summit. It was not conquered until 1956 by the French Lionel Terray and his expedition.

Like most of the other snow mountains in the Cordillera Blanca, it is part of the Huascarán National Park , in Spanish "Parque Nacional Huascarán".
