Taylor Holst (born April 24, 1989 in Rum , Tyrol ) is an Austrian - Canadian ice hockey player who has played for HC Kufstein in the Tyrolean Elite League since 2015 . His father was Greg and his brother Michael is also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Taylor Holst is the son of Greg Holst , who played for many years in the Austrian ice hockey league for Innsbruck, Wiener EV and the Austrian national team. Taylor's ice hockey career began with the offspring of HC Innsbruck . In the 2006/07 season he played for the Summerland Sting . He then played two seasons for the Cowichan Valley Capitals , then one for the Quesnel Millionaires in the BCHL ( British Columbia Hockey League ). From the Millionaires he was supposed to go to the University of North Dakota , where he was supposed to play for the Fighting Sioux . But since he had trouble clearing house, the "suitability test" for the College League, he became the EC Red Bull Salzburg II, the farm team of EC Red Bull Salzburg transferred.

In the 2010/11 season he was regularly in action for the first team of EC Red Bull Salzburg, with whom Holst won the Austrian championship for the first time in his career at the end of the season . In April 2011 the attacker was signed by the Vienna Capitals . In the 2012/13 season Taylor Holst was under contract with EC Graz 99ers before he ended his professional career.
