Taylor Curtis Levan (* 22. July 1991 in Scottsdale , Arizona ) is an American American Footballer in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Tennessee Titans as an offensive tackle .
college
Lewan attended the University of Michigan and played for their team, the Wolverines, successfully college football . He played a total of 50 games and was appointed to various selection teams.
NFL
In the NFL Draft in 2014 he was 11th in the first round as a whole by the Tennessee Titans selected and received a four-year contract 11.5 million US dollars . In his rookie season he was used in 11 games, six of them as a starter . In the next two seasons he became an indispensable part of the Titans' offensive line . For his consistently good performance, he was appointed to the Pro Bowl for the first time in 2016 , as well as in the following two years. His importance to the team was also reflected financially. In 2018 he was awarded a new five-year contract valued at $ 80 million, 50 of which were guaranteed, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in league history.
In 2019, Lewan was suspended for four games for a doping violation .
