Teanamachar ( Gaelic : An t-Seana Mhachair ) is a small scattered settlement on the Scottish Hebridean island of Baleshare . It consists of only a few houses and is located on the west coast of the island. Besides Samala , it is the only significant settlement on Baleshare. The Baleshare Causeway , which connects Baleshare with the larger neighboring island of North Uist , and the settlement of Samala are located about two kilometers to the northeast.
