Tearce ( Macedonian Теарце ; Albanian Tearca / Tearc ) is a place and the official seat of the municipality of the same name in northwestern North Macedonia . In the north is Kosovo , in the east and south Jegunovce and in the west Tetovo . The municipality of Tearce consists of 13 villages: Brezno, Dobroste, Glogji, Jelosnic, Lesok, Neprosteno, Neraste, Odri , Prsovce, Prvce, Slatino, Tearce and Varvara.
geography
There are five rivers in Opština Tearce: Neprosteno (Neprosteno), Slatina (Slatina), Tearce (Bistrica), Dobroste (Gabrovnica) and Odri (Odri). Bistrica is the longest river of Opština Tearce with 19.2 km and flows from Tearce to Prsovce.
Demographics
According to the census (as of 2002), the ethnic groups are classified as:
- Albanians = 18,950
- Macedonians = 2,739
- Turks = 516
- Roma = 67
- Serbs = 14
- other = 10
Infrastructure
The B-405 road leads from Tetovo to Jegunovce and crosses many villages in the Tearce municipality. All inhabited places in the municipality of Tearce are connected by motorable roads.
There are four post offices in Opština Tearce, namely in Slatina, Tearce, Dobroste and Neraste.
