Tecşeşti ( Hungarian Teksesty ) is a Romanian village in Alba County in Transylvania . It is part of the municipality of Întregalde .

location

Tecşeşti is located in western Transylvania on a ridge of the Trascău Mountains . The village is located on the village street ( drum comunal ) DC 76 approx. Eleven kilometers northeast of the community center; the district capital Alba Iulia ( Karlsburg ) is 37 kilometers to the southeast.

population

The 66 inhabitants of the place (as of 2002) call themselves all Romanians . The population has decreased significantly since it was first officially recorded in 1956 (then 156).

traffic

Tecşeşti can be reached via a road from the town of Cetea - a village in the municipality of Galda de Jos . Public transport doesn't touch the place.

Attractions

The place itself has no special features. The Cheile Râmeț and Cheile Tecşeştilor valley gorges are in the vicinity . South of Tecşeşti is the Vârful Piatra Cetii mountain ( 1233  m ).
