Edward "Ted" Hankey (born February 20, 1968 in Stoke-on-Trent , Staffordshire ) is an English darts player .
In January 2000 he became world champion of the BDO by beating Ronnie Baxter 6-0 in the final and against Tony O'Shea 7-6 in 2009 .
In January 2012, Hankey announced his move to the competing world association PDC.
