Teresa Koloma Beck
Teresa Koloma Beck (* 1977 in Weimar ) is a German sociologist and professor . Since 2017, she has held the professorship for the sociology of globalization at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich in Neubiberg .
Life
Beck studied at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris and at the University of Witten / Herdecke . After completing her doctorate in 2010 at the Humboldt University in Berlin on everyday processes in the civil war , she headed the Franco- German junior research group Espaces et Violences | at the Center Marc Bloch Spaces of Violence (2013-2016). She conducted ethnographic research on war and post-war societies in Angola (2005/2006), Mozambique (2010) and Afghanistan (2015).
