Teresa Zukic

Teresa Zukic (born August 5, 1964 in Slavonski Brod , Croatia ) is a German author , graduate religious educator and religious sister of the "Small Community of the Siblings of Jesus" in the Archdiocese of Bamberg .

Live and act

Teresa Zukic grew up in Weinheim , where she attended elementary school from 1971 to 1975. She then went to the local secondary school from 1975 to 1980, from where she moved to a business high school. In her child and youth Zukic was a competitive athlete and was Hessian champion on balance beam and Badische champion in all-around .

In 1985 she decided to become a religious sister and joined the Vincentian Sisters in Fulda. There she worked in various social institutions: homes for the disabled and old people's homes, hospitals and at a special school. In 1989 she studied religious education with a degree in religious education (FH).

From 1992 to 1994 she worked as a community assistant in Hofbieber , Volkmarsen and Hanau-Lamboy . From 1994 to 2011 she was a community officer in Pegnitz . In the same year the small community of the siblings of Jesus Pentecost was founded in the Archdiocese of Bamberg . She is the holder of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
