description

The Podhale region at the foot of the Tatras is rich in thermal springs. Here the occurrence of thermal springs is densest in Poland and one of the densest in Europe. The underground thermal waters extend from Podhale to Slovakia and Budapest in Hungary. However, the use of thermal springs in Poland only began at the beginning of the 21st century. Termy Chochołowskie is one of the many thermal baths that have been built in Podhale in recent years.

The mineral-rich thermal water is extracted from a 4000 m² deep borehole. The thermal water produced is 82 ° C warm. The water temperature in the Termy Chochołowskie varies between 32 and 36 ° C, depending on the basin. It is used for medicinal purposes because of its mineral content.

The thermal bath has a total of seven pools, eight whirlpools, seven thermal barrels and a sauna area. The thermal bath is located directly on the Czarny Dunajec mountain river
