The Termy gorący Potok was build in 2014 and 2015 opened Spa in Szaflary at the foot of the Polish Tatra Mountains in the region Podhale in the Malopolska province , the Nowy Targ County and the Municipality of Szaflary. The Podhale region at the foot of the Tatras is rich in thermal springs. Here the occurrence of thermal springs is densest in Poland and one of the densest in Europe. The underground thermal waters extend from Podhale to Slovakia and Budapest in Hungary. However, the use of thermal springs in Poland only began at the beginning of the 21st century. Termy Gorący Potok is one of the many thermal baths that have emerged in Podhale in recent years.
The mineral-rich thermal water is extracted from a borehole. The water temperature varies between 32 and 39 ° C depending on the pool. It is used for medicinal purposes because of its mineral content.
The thermal bath has a total of 22 pools, water slides as well as a sauna and spa area. The thermal baths also have apartments. The thermal bath is located directly on the Biały Dunajec mountain river .
