The Gmina Szaflary is a rural community in the powiat Nowotarski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name.

The Zakopianka ( DK 47 ), which connects Krakow with Zakopane and the Chabówka – Zakopane railway line, run through the municipality on the outskirts of the main town .
tourism
The main town Szaflary is considered to be the place with the most thermal springs in Poland. Thermal water is promoted for district heating and energy generation. There are two thermal baths in the village:
- Termy Szaflary , opened in 2008
- Termy Gorący Potok , opened in 2014.
