The Gmina Jabłonka is a rural municipality in the powiat Nowotarski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name ( Jablonka in Slovak and Hungarian ).
geography
The municipality has an area of 213.28 km². One of the waters is the Czarna Orawa, which drains into the Danube via the Orava and Waag . The border with Slovakia runs south-west at a distance of five kilometers.
history
From 1939 to 1945 the municipality became part of the Slovak state . It was not until 1947 that Czechoslovakia finally dropped its claims to the area.
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
structure
The rural municipality includes the following villages:
Chyżne , Jabłonka , Jabłonka-Bory , Lipnica Mała , Orawka , Podwilk , Zubrzyca Dolna and Zubrzyca Górna .
Other localities are the Danielki and Zawodzie settlements.
