Krościenko nad Dunajcem is a rural municipality in the powiat Nowotarski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the spa town of the same name with around 3500 inhabitants.

The municipality is located between the Gorcen in the northwest, the Sandets Beskids in the east and the Pieninen in the south. The most important body of water is the Dunajec .

From 1975 to 1998 the municipality or its area belonged to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
