Terniwka ( Ukrainian Тернівка ; Russian Терновка Ternowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast of Mykolaiv with about 100 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in 1892, forms its own district council on the border with Kherson Oblast in the southeast of Bereznehuwate Rajon .
Terniwka is located on the bank of the Inhulez, 20 km southeast of the district center Bereznehuwate and about 110 km northeast of the Oblast center Mykolaiv .
Personalities
The Ukrainian economist, diplomat and politician Mykola Slavov was born in the village in 1926 .
