Théodore Flournoy
Théodore Flournoy (born August 15, 1854 in Geneva , † November 5, 1921 in Geneva) was a Swiss psychologist and parapsychologist who became famous for his research on the somnambulistic medium Hélène Smith, published in 1900 .
Flournoy studied for a year with Wilhelm Wundt in Leipzig and was professor of psychology at the University of Geneva from 1891 . With his student Édouard Claparède he founded the magazine Archives de Psychologie and is at the beginning of the Geneva school . He was president of a congress on experimental psychology in 1909.
